Challenge

Outdoor access is fragmented. Hunters and anglers struggle to discover trustworthy private land, guided hunts, and fishing charters. Landowners and outfitters lack a unified platform to list properties, set rules and availability, collect deposits, require waivers, and manage bookings — while keeping exact addresses and gate codes private until a reservation is confirmed.

Approach

We built AccessTheWild as a full-stack marketplace: a Laravel web platform with public discovery, owner and admin portals, and a REST API powering a Flutter hunter app for iOS and Android. The product supports seasonal leases, day access, guided trips, and hunt club memberships with request-and-approve and instant-book flows. Stripe handles checkout; digital waivers and blind reviews build trust on both sides of the marketplace. Location privacy keeps approximate coordinates public and reveals exact access details only after booking confirmation.

Outcome

AccessTheWild ships as a production-grade platform spanning web and mobile — with listing search, favorites, booking management, messaging, documents, and an ads engine with mobile and web monetization fallback. Operational metrics are marked TBD pending verified source details.
